Skip the Detours, Wait for the Party: AION 2 Dungeon Routes and Class Skills

Less incidental combat in the bird dungeon, better timing at story bosses, and a Krao Cave beta that still needs player supervision.

An efficient dungeon run needs two different decisions: which fights to skip and when to wait for the group. The October 7–9 updates change both, while completing skill rotations for every class. The level-30 bird dungeon and three story dungeons already have revised routes and timing; the new Auto Dungeon feature begins as a narrower beta.

Level-30 bird dungeon: head for the boss

The route to the bird dungeon boss no longer stops to clear mobs along the way. That removes fights unrelated to the target encounter. After the boss, the routine does not open the Od Energy bag. It exits directly wherever the objective is completed, avoiding extra time on the way out.

A second pass fixed several points where the route could stall, and the level-30 bird dungeon can now be cleared successfully. More dedicated refinements are planned, so the route may continue to improve.

Three story dungeons: assemble the group before the final boss

The issue where a story-dungeon room was created but other players did not enter has been fixed. Player entry after room creation now has the highest priority. At the final boss of all three story dungeons, the routine waits for teammates to be ready before engaging, following the Auto Dungeon approach. This helps avoid triggering the encounter before the party is in position.

The three story dungeons also no longer open the Od Energy bag. Room entry, boss timing, and post-boss actions now better fit a group run. Team size and victory still depend on actual matchmaking and combat.

Krao Cave is the first Auto Dungeon beta

The Auto Dungeon beta currently supports Krao Cave only, with 1100+ combat power recommended. It can dodge many lethal skills, but it is an early test, not a full replacement for manual play or a promise of final performance. It does not revive your character after death; you must watch the fight and choose when to revive.

Auto Combat also avoids automatic revival when a living teammate is within 60 meters, so an ill-timed revival does not interfere with a boss fight. Both rules make party and death state worth watching while using the beta.

Combat preparation now includes every class

Templar and Cleric skill rotations have been added, bringing rotation support to all classes. Stigma skill point allocation and priority were also improved. Earlier automatic Stigma allocation and quickbar placement handled getting skills ready; this round improves the order in which the prepared skills are used. Results still depend on the character’s available skills, power, and the encounter.

The practical change is straightforward: fewer incidental fights in the bird dungeon, a party-ready pause at story bosses, and a Krao Cave beta that helps dodge attacks while leaving revival decisions to the player. Check the guide and download page before trying the latest version.
