AION 2 Global Reworks Abyss PvP: Chaotic Outer Reshanta Standardizes Stats and Artifact Siege Drops to Twice Weekly

Region notice: This article covers the November 4, 2026 Steam / PURPLE Global update.

The Global update changes both access to Abyss PvP and the weekly reward schedule. It adds Chaotic Outer Reshanta, where characters fight with standardized progression values, and reduces Artifact Siege from three weekly sessions to two while increasing Abyss Corridor points per run.

This is more than a new map: it changes the relationship between gear progression, PvP participation time and Abyss Point income.

Chaotic Outer Reshanta: standardized PvP from level 45

Characters can enter from level 45. Each character receives three hours of base playtime per week, with additional time available through Outer Entry Stones.

Inside the area, character stats, skill levels and Stigma levels are standardized. Certain stat bonuses and specialization effects supplied by class-specific skills and Stigmas remain active.

Detail Global update rule
Entry level 45
Base weekly time 3 hours
Extra time Outer Entry Stones
Standardized Stats, skill levels and Stigma levels
Still applies Stat bonuses and specialization effects from class skills and Stigmas

NC says the purpose is to reduce differences in Abyss Point acquisition caused by character progression and create a more balanced PvP environment.

Standardization does not make every class identical. The notice explicitly preserves some class-skill and Stigma bonuses and specialization effects, so class mechanics still matter.

Rewards—and a 50% PvP point reduction

Chaotic Outer Reshanta offers:

  • Bound Kina
  • Abyss Points
  • Common, Rare and Epic gear
  • Outer Abyss Rift Stone (Bound)
  • Other bound crafting materials

There is an important trade-off: Abyss Points earned through PvP in Outer Reshanta are reduced by 50%. The standardized environment may reduce the gear gap, but it is not an unrestricted shortcut for farming points. Players should weigh the more even combat conditions against the lower point yield.

Artifact Siege moves from three sessions to two

Artifact Siege will now take place twice a week instead of three times:

Detail New schedule
Days Thursday and Saturday
Start time 21:00
Weekly frequency 2 sessions

To offset the lower frequency, NC will increase the Abyss Points awarded per run in the Abyss Corridor by 50%.

The three Artifact Bosses follow the same calendar:

Boss New schedule
Executor Kaira Thursday and Saturday, 21:30
Executor Argo Thursday and Saturday, 21:30
Executor Tamasa Thursday and Saturday, 21:30

Artifact Siege and its related boss encounters are therefore concentrated on Thursday and Saturday, giving Legions a clearer weekly schedule to plan around.

What changes for different players?

Players with slower gear progression: Chaotic Outer Reshanta reduces the direct stat gap between characters, but the three-hour weekly base allowance means entry time still needs to be planned.

Players focused on Abyss Points: PvP points in the new area are cut by 50%. Do not assume standardized stats also mean the best point-farming efficiency. The Abyss Corridor’s per-run increase is the compensation tied to the reduced Artifact Siege frequency.

Legion organizers: Artifact Siege and the three Artifact Bosses now share a Thursday/Saturday schedule. Weekly group activities may need to be rearranged.

The main takeaway

The November 4 update does not simply raise every Abyss reward. It redistributes the value of different activities:

  • Chaotic Outer Reshanta offers standardized PvP, but awards 50% fewer Abyss Points from PvP.
  • Artifact Siege falls to two weekly sessions.
  • Abyss Corridor points per run rise by 50%.
  • The three Artifact Bosses move to Thursday and Saturday.

Players should plan around the trade-off between more even PvP conditions, point income and Legion schedules.
