AION 2 Global Resets Odyle Energy Shop Limits to 4 per Character and 16 per Server

Region: Steam/PURPLE Global. This article covers the Wind Breeze Merchants changes in the Global patch dated Oct. 27 PDT / Oct. 28 CET. It is not a notice for the Korean or Taiwanese services.

With the Global server-transfer period over, several temporary shop arrangements are being replaced. The key change for regular dungeon runners is the end of the temporary Odyle Energy (Bound) offer capped at 20 per character. NC lists two new weekly limits: 4 per character and 16 per server.

Odyle Energy returns to two weekly limits

The patch notes list three product-row changes:

Both limits matter. A character cannot exceed its four-item allowance, while all characters on the same server share the 16-item server cap. The new arrangement should not be read as 16 purchases for every alt, or as a continuation of the temporary 20-per-character offer.

Nightmare instant-clear tickets arrive

NC also adds the bound Instant Clear Ticket: Nightmare to the Wind Breeze Merchants Special shop.

• Price: 30,000 Kina each.
• Weekly limit: 14 per server.
• The limit is server-wide, not a separate allowance for every character.

This gives players with Kina another way to save time on Nightmare runs, but it is still a capped purchase rather than unlimited access.

Other shop navigation changes

The same notice says that, after the transfer period, some items move from Shop → Wind Breeze Merchants → Special to Substance Morph → Special → Wind Breeze Merchants. NC names the Daily Dungeon Instant Clear Ticket (Bound) and Soul Crystal (Bound) among the affected items.

The sale of the seven-day Lower Abyss Rift Stone also ends. If an item is no longer where you remember it, check the updated in-game category instead of relying on the old shop path.

Before you buy

1. Read the label on the Odyle Energy row: the character and server counters are separate limits that apply together.
2. Check the remaining server allowance before buying a Nightmare Instant Clear Ticket.
3. Look under Substance Morph for the Daily Dungeon ticket and Soul Crystal after the shop reorganization.
