Service: Steam/PURPLE Global. The October 20 PDT / October 21 CEST patch adds Hard difficulty to Krao Cave and Draupnir. Characters need item level 2,600 to enter. The official notes set a four-minute Frenzy window for bosses and cap each player’s revives at three, so parties should plan damage windows and recovery resources before starting.
Rewards and materials
Hard expeditions can award the bound Philosopher’s Stone: Revelation, including as a selectable guaranteed reward. Players can also earn bound Ariel Fragments, may obtain Expedition Hero Artwork, and receive more Kina than in Normal mode. The two dungeons also provide Wrathful Mind, Wrathful Will and Wrathful Ego, materials used in crafting.
The update adds an Ariel Daevanion Board. One route converts 100 Ariel Fragments into a bound Daevanion Crystal: Ariel, up to 30 times per character. Another converts one fragment into five Enhance Stones, with no conversion cap stated in the notes.

Check that your item level is at least 2,600, agree on a boss plan, and account for the three-revive cap. Review the guaranteed reward option and the character-level fragment conversion limit before spending materials.
