Service: Korean PLAYNC AION 2. Two quality-of-life corrections from the October 14, 2026 Korean patch clarify how item-acquisition preferences interact with an intentional mouse click. This is not a confirmed change to Steam/PURPLE Global or Taiwan.
A player choice should remain a player choice
NC now allows a dropped item to be acquired when the player selects it directly with the mouse, regardless of the current item-acquisition settings. A person who filters out an entire category during routine farming can therefore still make a deliberate exception for one ground item.
This narrowly addresses manual acquisition. It does not say all items will be collected automatically, that loot ownership restrictions disappear, or that party distribution settings are replaced. Those systems are separate.
Common Consumables gets a clearer grade boundary
The same patch limits the setting Settings → Acquisition → Types of Items to Acquire → Common Consumables to Common-grade items or lower. Players troubleshooting a filter should check the item’s actual classification and grade rather than assuming every higher-rarity consumable belongs to this setting.
These are interface and behavior fixes, not new drop-rate or market-economy rules. They also differ from the October 7 reimbursement involving pet auto-loot tickets.
For Korean-service players, a practical test is to leave a restrictive filter enabled, mouse-click a low-value drop, then compare how the Common Consumables selection behaves at different item grades. International players should verify any similar behavior against their own regional notes: shared menu labels do not prove synchronized patches.
