Service: Steam/PURPLE Global. There is still an important reward eligibility window on AION 2’s official Steam store page. NC says it has extended the pre-registration and Steam Wishlist rewards to every player who creates an account and logs in before the listed December maintenance. That matters to late arrivals who missed both early promotion campaigns.
More importantly, the wording contains two separate deadlines, one for qualifying and another for actually claiming the items from in-game mail.
Qualify before the first December maintenance
The store gives December 1, 2026 at 11:30 p.m. Pacific time / December 2 at 8:30 a.m. Central European time as the point when maintenance begins. An eligible player must create an account and log in before that cutoff.
Simply installing AION 2 or adding it to a Steam Wishlist now is not a substitute for the stated condition. Check that you can enter the Global service and that the game account you intend to use is the one receiving the items.
For travelers: the deadline uses December’s standard-time offsets rather than October’s daylight-saving ones. Convert the date for your own locale instead of assuming the usual PDT/CEST offset still applies.
The in-game mail expires a week later
NC says the qualifying items are delivered via in-game mail, and gives December 8 at 11:30 p.m. Pacific / December 9 at 8:30 a.m. Central European time as the mail expiry cutoff. Receiving a message and claiming its attachments are two different actions.
A practical checklist is to log in ahead of the eligibility cutoff, open your inbox, collect the rewards and verify that the relevant attachments reached your inventory.
No promise of duplicate or cross-region grants
The store notice does not establish that every character can obtain multiple complete reward sets, or that rewards transfer between service regions. The date and eligibility rule discussed here belong to Global, not the Korean or Taiwanese PLAYNC services.
