Global / Europe only. NC’s October 8, 2026 server notice introduces two more names for the European region: Nathara (Elyos) and Tassin (Asmodian). These are faction-specific servers in AION 2 Global on Steam and PURPLE; they are not additions to Korea or Taiwan.
Date, time, and grouping
The announced opening is October 8 at 9:00 a.m. PDT / 6:00 p.m. CEST, equivalent to October 9 at midnight in Beijing. Players coordinating new characters should confirm both the target server name and their faction before choosing a home.
This is a new EU pair following earlier server expansion, not a report that every existing EU server has been renamed or replaced.
Dungeon access and future transfers
NC makes two different points. First, all instanced activities, including dungeons, support cross-server participation. A character on a new server is therefore not limited to that home server’s population for every dungeon instance.
Second, server transfers are planned for the future so that friends may have another opportunity to reunite. The notice does not provide a launch date, cost, or complete restrictions for that feature. Cross-server instances should not be confused with an immediate ability to move a character permanently to another server.
For anyone starting today, the practical advice is to choose an available server and faction based on current options, then consult NC for later transfer rules. The announcement does not confirm unrelated systems such as cross-faction grouping or cross-server trading.
