Region: Korean PLAYNC service only. Korea’s October 21 update changes the Arcana storage cap and the rewards tied to extraction. This is an inventory and progression-material adjustment; it should not be confused with the separately reported Noble Crystal Arcana extraction error, and it does not establish that Global or Taiwan received the same change.
The storage cap falls from 1,100 to 500
The update summary reduces Arcana storage from 1,100 to 500 and tells players to extract the excess. Korean-service players should check their current storage and use the in-game extraction flow to handle anything above the new cap.
The notice summary does not describe every possible inventory state. The cap change alone is not evidence that excess items will be automatically deleted; players should follow the client prompts and verify their own inventory.
Extraction rewards are changing too
The update also changes what players receive from extraction:
- Extraction now grants Advanced Training Arcana (Bound).
- Mysterious Crystal (Bound) is no longer part of the extraction reward.
- Existing accumulated progress is removed, and NC says Mysterious Crystals will be granted later based on that progress.
The summary does not give a precise distribution date or a full conversion table for every case. Players should watch for a follow-up Korean notice rather than assume an exact delivery time or calculate an unannounced amount.
Do not conflate this with the extraction error notice
Korea also listed a known issue in which extracting a Noble Crystal Arcana could return an extraction-data error. That notice concerns a failed extraction flow; the October 21 patch item discussed here changes the storage cap and extraction rewards. They involve the same system, but they are not the same issue. The cap adjustment alone does not prove the earlier error has been fixed.
Regional scope
These details come from Korea’s October 21 PLAYNC update notes. There is no evidence here that Steam/PURPLE Global or Taiwan has adopted the same storage cap or material-reward rules. Check the announcement and client for the service you actually play.
