Korea-service news, not a Global patch. On October 7, 2026, NC expanded several preset systems in the live Korean edition of AION 2. These slots are not confirmed as available in the same form on Steam/PURPLE Global, and no specific Global rollout date follows from the Korean notice.
A wider set of saved configurations
The main change raises numerous preset limits from three to five. The affected systems include equipment, wings, titles, Pantheon, race insight, skills and Arcana. HUD preset sets also increase to five.
This matters whenever different content calls for different saved arrangements: a player can keep dedicated combinations for group PvE, exploration or faction combat with fewer repeated menu adjustments. The patch expands the number of setups players can store; it does not hand out the equipment or abilities needed to populate them.
Wardrobe presets expand separately from three to six. Those are appearance configurations, not six free cosmetic items.
Three smaller interface improvements
NC also adds a completion indicator on field named-monster icons, so players can tell whether the associated defeat achievement is already complete. A display setting now allows hiding your own character nameplate, and players receive a separate wing-sound toggle rather than relying on broader audio controls.
The common thread is user-interface flexibility. These are not announcements of a new class or a confirmed worldwide balance update. Global players may treat them as an example of Korea’s evolving client, not a confirmed Global roadmap.
