AION 2 Global is already responding to launch queues and server pressure with both additional worlds and a clearer transfer plan.
NC says server transfers will become available starting October 14, allowing players to move between servers within the same faction. Players who are currently waiting in long queues, or who are only now creating a character, are being encouraged to consider recommended servers instead of treating the busiest launch worlds as permanent choices.
NA East adds Vaizel and Triniel
The latest NA East expansion adds:
- Vaizel — Elyos
- Triniel — Asmodian
The pair follows Global’s one-faction-per-home-server structure. NC also notes that future transfer availability gives players a path to rejoin friends later, reducing some pressure to wait through a launch queue on a specific world.
Instanced content, including dungeons, is cross-server
The transfer notice includes an important practical reminder: all instanced content, including dungeons, is available cross-server.
That does not make the choice of home server irrelevant, but it does mean dungeon grouping is not limited to characters living on exactly the same world.
For now, the confirmed details are the October 14 start date and same-faction transfer scope. Any additional restrictions, costs, cooldowns or eligibility rules should be checked again when NC publishes the final transfer instructions.
