AION 2 Korea Staggers Artifact Wars and Adds an 8-Minute Dimensional Core Breakpoint

AION 2 Korea’s September 30 update continues to tune the pacing of large-scale Abyss content, with changes to Artifact Occupation War schedules and a new anti-stalemate rule for the Dimensional Core.

These settings apply to the Korean service and should not be treated as confirmed Steam Global rules.

Artifact wars are spread farther apart

The Wednesday and Saturday Artifact Occupation War schedule is now staggered by group:

  • Group 1: 21:20
  • Group 2: 21:50
  • Group 3: 22:20

The Abyss bosses that follow in Chaotic Lower and Middle Reshanta move to 21:45, 22:15 and 22:45.

Some Guardian Lord Nahma and Enraged Guardian Lord Nahma spawns also shift, with Groups 2 and 3 moving to 22:30 and 23:00.

Long Dimensional Core fights now become easier to finish

If a Dimensional Core is still alive eight minutes after the battle begins, it receives the Waning Power effect.

The debuff reduces Damage Tolerance and Double Resist, creating a clear pressure point against prolonged stalemates. The longer the fight survives past the threshold, the less viable pure delay tactics become.

No major class balance pass this week

The class section is limited to Sorcerer tooltip corrections. The patch also fixes issues in Fire Temple, Snowfield of Sorrow and Hidden Cube audio behavior.

For Global players, the most useful takeaway is operational rather than predictive: Korea is actively tuning large-scale PvP duration and event staggering. Steam Global may use different schedules or combat values unless NC confirms otherwise.
