AION 2 already has a confirmed global launch date of October 5, 2026, but Steam’s current app record now gives players a more precise reference point: 13:00 UTC.
If that timestamp remains unchanged, it corresponds to 6:00 AM PDT, 9:00 AM EDT, 2:00 PM BST, 3:00 PM CEST, 9:00 PM in China and Singapore, and 10:00 PM in Japan.
There is an important caveat, however: this is the Steam store release timestamp, not a separate NC announcement guaranteeing that every game server will open at the exact same minute.

SteamDB’s record for AION 2 App ID 3393110 currently shows:

The official Steam store page continues to show the October 5 free-to-play release and September 30 Advanced Access for Founder’s Pack owners.
That makes 13:00 UTC a platform-level data point rather than a community guess.
A Steam unlock time is not automatically a server-opening promise
Steam’s release timestamp controls when the title is scheduled to move out of its pre-release state on Valve’s platform. The actual AION 2 service could still be affected by launch maintenance, regional deployment or a separate NC opening schedule.
As of this update, NC has not published a dedicated global notice confirming that servers will open at exactly 13:00 UTC on October 5, and no launch-day maintenance window has been announced.
The safest reading is therefore: Steam currently points to 13:00 UTC for the October 5 store unlock, while the exact server-opening time still needs final confirmation from NC.
Advanced Access still has no published hour
The September 30 Founder’s Pack Advanced Access date is also worth separating from the October 5 timestamp.
Steam currently lists September 30 for Advanced Access, but it does not provide a specific UTC start hour comparable to the October 5 store release field.
Players should not assume the Early Access period will begin at 13:00 UTC simply because the full launch currently uses that timestamp.
The next useful information would be an official Advanced Access opening time, preload schedule and any maintenance window before permanent progression begins.
Regional time conversion if the Steam timestamp holds
If the Steam record remains unchanged, the October 5 unlock translates to approximately:

- US East Coast: 9:00 AM EDT
