AION 2 Global is continuing its pre-launch roadshow in Japan. Tokyo Game Show 2026 runs from September 17 through September 21, and AION 2 is playable across six partner hardware and retail booths rather than through a single dedicated AION 2 stand.
For players following the Steam Global release, this is one of the last public hands-on opportunities before Advanced Access begins on September 30. The final public day of TGS 2026 is September 21.
Where AION 2 can be played at TGS 2026
NC Japan’s event information lists six locations inside the show:
- BenQ Japan — Hall 2, 02-C07
- Crowxis / CFD Sales — Hall 1, 01-C13
- Lenovo Japan — Hall 5, 05-C01
- MSI — Hall 8, 08-N18
- ROG / ASUS JAPAN — Hall 6, 06-N03
- Sofmap — Hall 8, 08-C16
The distributed setup gives AION 2 exposure across several PC-hardware areas of the show, which fits the global version’s PC-only launch focus on Steam and PURPLE.
September 21 is the last public day
The public schedule for the final three days is:
- September 19: 09:30–17:00
- September 20: 09:30–17:00
- September 21: 09:30–16:00
Anyone planning to try the game in person should still check the individual booth’s queue and demo availability. Admission to Tokyo Game Show also requires the appropriate event ticket.
The TGS build is a special demo version
NC’s event notice makes an important distinction: the build used at TGS has been specially tuned for the exhibition. It should not be treated as a one-to-one preview of the final Advanced Access or launch build.
That matters because the global version has just completed its Launch Scale Test. The LST was designed primarily to test server and infrastructure load, while the TGS build is designed around a short, controlled hands-on session at a trade show.
What Steam Global players should watch next
The TGS appearance does not change the release calendar. Advanced Access still starts September 30 and the free global launch remains October 5.
The more important launch details still outstanding are the final retail-client preload timing, server list, exact server-open time and any last-minute changes made after the scale test.
Once TGS 2026 ends, AION 2 Global effectively moves out of its public-demo phase and into final launch preparation.
